Ryan McDonald is a board-certified nephrologist, completing his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and his nephrology training at LSU. He currently spends half of his time in Alaska at KHC and half of his time taking care of patients at the Utah Kidney Clinic.
Dr. McDonald specializes in the treatment of high blood pressure and takes a special interest in keeping people with advanced kidney disease off dialysis. He is passionate about patient care and optimizing outcomes, with an emphasis on the treatment of kidney disease by improving healthy lifestyle choices.
Dr. McDonald is fluent in Spanish and enjoys all the outdoor activities these two beautiful states have to offer. He has a very understanding wife, and four children that keep him busy.
